Jerry Davis

Jerry began his fabricating experience with his first bicycle, modifying the forks, adding a sissy bar, lowering the banana seat during the era of “Krate” bikes from Schwinn in the 60’s. This morphed into a highly modified heavy duty bike for delivering 150-300 newspapers every morning in the Los Gatos foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains.

His passion for cycling turned to motorcycles, racing off-road, maintaining passion for both throughout his career to today. Cycling with the Los Gatos Bicycle Club and San Jose Bicycle Racing Club, gravitating to mountain biking in a region rich in terrain to enjoy. Starting his coaching career with the LGBC Junior National team as well as the strength and condition coach for the SJBRC Category 1 national road team. Jerry’s love for mountain biking created the Kestrel Mountain Bike Team where he moved to the Ritchey Designs World Cup Mountain Bike team.
